I should be studying for my Red Hat test, instead I’m drawing a derpy little druid character for a comic I want to make. I wanted something incredibly simplistic (somewhat inspired by the AT style) and slapped it together with a BG I drew when bored one day but never had a use for. Derp: I forgot to fill in her leaves.

Radio-silence, EVERYWHERE! I’ve been studying fulltime so I’ve had little time to do much lately. Stephen recently got me into Katawa Shoujo (which is odd, I enjoy very few anime-related things) so I scribbled up my favorite character, Hanako, during our Dark Heresy campaign this evening.

I’m very aware I’ve missed two weeks now to submit my CA of the week. I have done them, I simply haven’t had the chance to upload them with everything that’s been going on.

Stephen finally finished re-recording “Lu” today, he’s had a lot of voice acting projects being thrown at him so sadly it didn’t fall into the every fortnight category we’d hoped.

I’ve started studying again, so posts may come on my day off (every Tuesday) instead of Sundays now. I have a load of stuff to get done today but hopefully will get those two CA images up tonight.

I’m one year older, and about to go back to being a student. This sums up how I feel right now.

Update

Lu is finally getting close to completion.

After three months of being unwell we finally found out I have developed an allergy to wheat/gluten, so with a new diet I’m finally beginning to feel better which is helping the progress a lot.

I spent the day enrolling in my course and having to tie up a few other things, and tomorrow is Australia day which of course means time with the family. However, I think I can hopefully get Lu finally finished by tomorrow night.

Sorry again for the delay, I thank you all for your patience.

I’m really not happy with how Lu is progressing. The video is already late, which bothers me a lot. How I envisioned the video to come out isn’t viable, I’d have to do a lot more individual drawings, and with how low I need the quality to get it all done in time just wouldn’t work.I have work tomorrow,the concoction of sleep deprivation, the ramblings of Duke looping in my head ( specifically this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhTU5tSufu0&feature=channel_video_title and don’t get me wrong, I love Duke’s work) everything is beginning to slowly deteriorate into what looks like a suicidal 5-year-old got a hold of my tablet.I might do some more in the morning. Hopefully with more practice this will get simpler and quicker, it’s still so alien trying to draw on a tablet with a style I don’t normally use.For now, here’s a more up to date image on how Lu is going to look. I’m sorry for the delay.

Listening to the Skyrim theme and redrawing Lu’s design, trying to go with something more Elven, but trying to not make her look mean -though currently she’s looking a little too much like she has a medieval flail up her vagina-.EDIT: Came out with a design similar to the picture above I’m really happy with. It should be simplistic enough to redraw enough times quickly.
